Celebrity Adds A Touch Of Class To Bingo Night
Bingo is a great way to raise funds for good causes and it is easy to see why it is included in so many charitable events. It is easy to convince younger people along with music or other activities but if you are looking to get a good mix of the local population, you may be struggling. This is why bingo is the obvious answer because it has a natural appeal to the older folk in the community but it is also something that younger people can enjoy too. There is no doubt that bingo is enjoyed by all age groups and if you have a charity event coming up, bingo is always going to be a wise choice.
Bingo should always get people along
Then again, some folk will believe that this is not enough and they need to work harder to get people along. In this case, having a celebrity guest to be the bingo caller may be just the thing that people are looking for. Okay, having a top class celebrity may break the bank and ruin the purpose of raising funds for a charity but there is definitely something to be said for getting along a good B or C lister or someone who has a close link to top stars. A great example of this would be a minor character in a major TV show and when it comes to comedies, there haven’t been many better British laugh-alongs this millennium than The Office.
Okay, Ricky Gervais is probably too big to come along to a bingo event, Martin Freeman is about to star in three of the biggest films ever thanks to his role in The Office and even Jasper Carrot’s daughter that played Dawn is likely to be busy. This means the main man you want to get along to your bingo event is Keith from accounting. The extra-large sized actor went down a storm due to his deadpan delivery of humorous and non-PC lines on the show and he could be the perfect bingo caller to have some fun. This is what the organisers of the Celeb Bingo Brighton will be hoping for as Keith from the Office comes along on August the 11th to the Concorde 2 venue. There will be music and other activities lined up too but this is definitely something to look forward to.
