Previously, we had made a public announcement informing you all that a total of four winning tickets had shared a Lotto jackpot between them on an equal basis and that pro rata distribution took place on the 25th August. However, in an astonishing display of how luck really can turn around, there were an additional two tickets that netted their lucky winners a prize, and so this means that in total, six people have won. These extra winning tickets were identified on the 28th August, which means that although there have been six winners of the Lotto jackpot in the last week alone (an amazing accomplishment if ever there was one) the Saturday night winners will only split the jackpot between them two.
Given the fact that the jackpot on Saturday the 28th August was valued at £4,701,086, this means that the pair of winners will be eligible for £2,350,543. To date, it is still not known whether they are either individuals, or part of a lottery syndicate.
In earlier publications, we had made an off the cuff remark as to how the number 49 had, at that time, not actually made an appearance as one of the six numbers that is netted during the Lottery rollover process and so we in for a treat when the 49 appeared so suddenly. We can only hope that other numbers, which are yet to make an appearance (much like their counterpart, the number 49) will also help us out although it remains to be seen. To date, the numbers 09, 06, 48, 41, 29 and 23 are all awaiting to be expressed.
But wait, there’s more good news! Not only has there been the two jackpot winners on Saturday night, but there have been an additional nineteen winners who managed to correctly predict five out of the six potential numbers in addition to the Bonus Ball. What does this mean? Each of those nineteen individuals are now £76,130 richer than they were previously to the event taking place.
Impressed yet? The good news just keeps on coming. Nearly 500 lucky players won £1,887 each, whilst 500,000 people won either £74 or £10. In short, it has been a very successful few weeks for lottery players across the country. Perhaps such excellent and inspiring news will help encourage other potential players to come forward, and ensure that they too get involved in the process.
