National Lottery Money Spider Scratch Card
With the Money Spider scratch card, the player will notice that in the Play Area there is a grid that has nine squares in total, 3 by 3, although the grid is concealed by virtue of the silver coating that is present prior to the player removing it to see the icons. In order to win, the player must have three equal icons in any direction within the grid in an uninterrupted, unbroken line. The direction can be either:
- Vertical
- Horizontal
- Diagonal
Unlike other scratch card games, whereby the value of the winnings that the player is entitled to receive will be contingent upon and determined by the actual number of icons they successfully reveal: the Money Spider is different in that the value of the prize will be pre-determined.
The actual value of the prize in question will be specified under the “prize” heading, and will be outlined in both numerical as well as abbreviated format. In other words, a player with two separate scratch cards, who manages to line up three symbols on each of the cards, may receive £1000 for card A, and £10,000 for card B. Please note that the specified values in the previous sentence were hypothetical only, in the interests of more clearly defining and highlighting this topic.
As with all scratch cards, the odds of winning will be altered by virtue of the printing and releasing into circulation, additional cards. However, the rate of which the odds will be influenced is significantly lower with the Money Spider scratch card than other cards.
