Being a teenager is such a troublesome, emotionally draining and fraught time, as they struggle with the significant changes that are taking place in their body alongside the difficulty they face in trying to interact and comfortably mingle with their peer group. For Stacey Bywater however, it seems that all these drains on her happiness and emotional wellbeing have been well and truly eclipsed by virtue of the fact that she managed to win a Lotto jackpot to the value of £1,117,779.
What makes her victory all the more intriguing and remarkable is that her father had a dream only a few weeks previous to the lottery numbers being read out in which, a family member (the dream did not specify who) became rich. The dream did not specify the manner in which the relative would become wealthy, and so those of us who thought that perhaps her father had some assistance as to what numbers to choose, think again!
Originally, Stacey’s enthusiasm for her winnings were somewhat muted and the reason for this was that she was under the impression that she had managed to earn herself £70, which although an especially princely sum, would give a much needed boost to her spending money for when she went on holiday.
Her excitement grew when it came apparent that she actually had five of the numbers guessed correctly, and her father commented in rather excited terms that this would mean that she would be eligible for £1,500 which would be an especially significant boost to her holiday budget indeed. With that sort of money, she could afford to upgrade the quality of her vacation.
By the time she had come to realise that she actually had six numbers guessed correctly, Stacey was barely controllable and so she found herself screaming with delight and joy at the fact that she had managed to earn a big prize. However, it is worth noting that even at this stage, Stacey still did not know the full extent or value of the prize money that she was eligible for. Thinking that at best, she was due to receive £100.000 which to her was a princely sum indeed, she was stunned beyond measure whenever she came to learn that she was in actual fact, a millionaire.
After finally gaining some composure, Stacey then phoned up the Camelot lottery organisers to verify whether or not she was indeed a winner.
