How to Play
Blackjack is the most famous and popular game played in casinos. In this game you need to try and make sure that the value of your cards is as close to 21 as possible without going bust and going over.
Placing a Bet
Placing a bet on your hand is very easy. Before play you should start by selecting the increment of bet that you want to place. This can be done by selecting the chip from the bottom of the screen. This will be highlighted when selected. You then place bets by clicking on the table which will increase the bets by the chosen amount.
Playing
Once you have placed enough bets for the game you can then commence play by clicking on the deal button. This will deal out cards to you and the dealer. Both you and the dealer will receive two cards. Both of your cards will be visible, one of the dealers will still be hidden.
Playing a Hand
The value of the cards will depend on its face value. All the picture cards will be worth 10 in each game. Aces will be worth either 1 or 11 and the value will be chosen so that it’s best for your game. Blackjack can only happen on one hand when the two cards total to 21.
Insurance
If you see that the dealer has an ace in the visible card then you can choose to accept an insurance bet. In this case you place a bet that the dealer has blackjack which will be half the value of your current bet. The payout of this bet is 2:1 if the dealer does have blackjack, if he doesn’t then the insurance bet will be lost.
You are guaranteed to win if you have blackjack. If the dealer has blackjack though then this will result in a push which means you will only receive the original stake back. If the dealer does not have blackjack then you will win 3:2.
If neither the player or the dealer has blackjack then you can try to increase the value of your hand without going over 21. To do this you can click the hit button to add new cards, when you are happy then you can click stand to stick at the current score.
You will be able to continue hitting and adding new cards until the total score of your hand is 21, bust, or you stand. If you bust then you will automatically lose your original bet. If you have six cards in your hand which are still under 21 then this is known as a six card Charlie, in this case you will win everything except for blackjack.
If you are dealt two cards which are the same value then you can choose to split these by selecting the split option. This will create an additional bet for the second hand which has been created. There are no restrictions placed on split aces, these can be treated like other split cards.
Double down can be used on the first two cards in a hand. This can double your original bet and limit you to receiving only one more card. Double down can also be used on split hands.
You can quickly see the value of the cards in your hands by looking at the circle displayed next to the cards. This score will be increased every time a new card is added. If the score goes over 21 then you will bust and automatically forfeit your stake.
The aces in your hand will be taken at whatever value is best for your hand. They will be counted as 1 if 11 would make your hand go over 21.
If you have managed to play your hand without going over 21 then the dealer gets the option to play their hand.
If the dealer is holding a blackjack then you will lose your bet. If both you and the dealer has blackjack then this is a tie which means that the bet will be returned.
If the value of the dealers cards are under 16 then the dealer needs to continue drawing new cards until the value exceeds 17. If the value of the dealers hand goes over 21 then the dealer.
If your hand is bust the dealer will only receive one more card if the dealer’s first card is an ace and you took up the insurance bet option.
Hot Streak Bonus
You can decide to place a start bet before the start of each game. This side bet will accumulate and make it possible to earn higher rewards.
If you tie with the dealer then the hot streak bonus bets will remain in place. The bets will accumulate when you win the games.
If you split the cards then you will only lose the hot streak bonus bet if you lose both of your hands against the dealer. This means that even if one of your hands is bust you won’t necessarily lose your hot streak bonus.
Double down bets will not double the hot streak bonus bets. The side bet will not be doubled when using this option.
Placing an insurance bet also will not affect the bonus bets.
After you have placed a hot streak bonus bet and you win, then this will start the award moving up the ladder. This cannot be increased or withdrawn. It’s possible to place new hot streak bonus bets, although these will start at the bottom of the ladder. If the bonus gets right the way to the top, then you will receive a bonus.
If you tie then you can either replay, remove or increase the hot streak bonus in the same way as your main bet.
Rebetting
If you want to continue playing with the same bet then you can click the rebet and deal button. This will only be available if you have enough credits in your account. Clicking this button will automatically restore the same bets and start play without you needing to click anywhere else.
If you want to adjust your bet then click the rebet button. This allows you to add more chips or remove chips from the table if you want. You then click the deal button to start the game.
If you want to double your bet then the Double Bet button can be used to do this. It’s possible to click this button multiple times.
Removing all bets from the table can be done by clicking the clear button. If you want to remove chips one by one then you can hold down shift and click the chips you want to remove.
