Multi-Hand Blackjack – Introduction

Why play blackjack one hand at a time. With this game, you are able to play one, two or even three hands each game. You will be able to get three times the enjoyment by taking this option.

Multi-Hand Blackjack – How to Play

This game is where you are offered up to 3 hands of blackjack. You will need to try and beat the value of the dealer’s cards by getting a value close to 21, but not over.

You can start by placing bets. You have the option of choosing to bet on one, two, or all of the hands you are playing.

When you have placed your bets you can then click the deal button. After clicking deal no new bets can be placed.

Both you and the dealer will be dealt two cards. Both of your cards will be face up, and you will receive cards for every position you have placed a bet for. The dealer will also receive two cards. One of the cards will be face up and the other face down.

An ace can be worth either 11 or 1 and all of the face cards have the value of 10. All of the other cards are valued by the numbers on the cards. Blackjack is achieved when two cards values total to 21 by holding a face card and an ace, or a 10 and an ace.

Playing a Hand of Blackjack

Once you have finished placing bets you can click the Deal button. This will automatically deal two cards to both you and the dealer. In addition you will receive to extra cards for other hands that you have bet on.

If the up card of the dealer is an Ace then you can take an insurance bet. You can either accept or decline this. Accepting this will place an insurance bet which is equal to half of the value of your current bet. If the dealer has a blackjack then the insurance bet will pay out 2:1 and the game will end. If the dealer doesn’t have blackjack then the player will automatically lose the insurance bet and play will continue as normal.

If the visible card of the dealer is a card with a value of 10 then the insurance bet will not be offered. However, the dealer will still check for blackjack before play continues. This is to give the player an advantage to prevent them staking more.

Dealers blackjack will beat any of the outcomes of a players hands except for blackjack. In this case the game ends in a push and the bet staked will be returned.

If the dealer does not have blackjack then play will continue as normal. If you get blackjack (2 cards totaling 21) then you will automatically win and receive a payout of 3:2. If you do not have 21 then there are several options that you can use.

Request extra cards by clicking on the hit button. You can click this button up to seven times (until you receive 8 cards). You need to try and get as close to 21 without going over. If you bust then you lose your bets and will not be able to draw more cards. If you reach 21 then you will also be prevented from drawing more cards.

If you are happy with the value of your cards then click the stand button. No more cards will be received and it will be compared against the score of the dealer’s hand.

If your hand consists of two cards which are the same value then you can also decide to split them into two new hands. To do this click the split button. This will automatically place an additional bet on the new hand. If aces are split then you can only have one more card dealt to each hand. Split hands totaling 21 are not considered Blackjack. You are only allowed to split once in the game.

You can choose to click the double down button on the first two cards in the hand. Clicking this will automatically double the original bet, but also limit you to receiving only one additional card.

The value of the cards will automatically be calculated and displayed next to all of the cards. As new cards are added to the hand the scores will automatically be updated.

Aces will automatically be the highest value possible for your hand without making it go bust.

Once you have finished playing all of your hands, both of the dealer’s cards will be visible. If at least one of your hands is still in play then the dealer will continue to play, otherwise the dealer will automatically win.

If the value of the dealer’s cards is under 16 then they will continue to draw cards. If the value is 17 or more then they will stop. If the value of the cards is higher than 21 then the dealer will automatically bust and you will win (assuming you still have cards in play). If both you and the dealer have the same score then this will be a push and the original bet will be returned.

Placing a Bet

Before you can play multi-hand blackjack you will need to place a bet. Select the value of chip from the ones displayed at the bottom of the playing console. The selected chip will be displayed and highlighted.

Once you have placed your bet and are ready to start play you can click the deal button.

After finishing the current game you have the option of placing the same bet again by clicking the rebet and deal button. If you don’t have enough credits in your account then you will not see this option.

The Rebet button can be used to place the same bet again but also gives you the option of placing a higher bet if you want. You will then be able to start play by clicking the Deal button.

If you have enough credits, then the main bets can be doubled every time you click the Double Bet button. This button will also be hidden if a doubled bet will exceed the limits on the bets.

You can accept or decline insurance bets for each of your hands. You can do this one at a time or by clicking yes or no to all.

If the dealer has 21 points with the first two cards (blackjack) then each insurance bet will be paid out at 2:1. If the dealer doesn’t have blackjack then all insurance bets placed will automatically be lost.
