Blackjack is the most popular casino game and is played in casinos all around the world. But this game is much more than the classic game of 21. It adds a number of exciting new features, including the ability to play up to three hands at a time. This makes it at least three times as exciting. The game also features a bonus bet which can be used to win a maximum of 1000 times the side bet that you have placed if you manage to win a Blackjack.
Multi- Hand Blackjack with Side-bet – Introduction
This game makes it simple to enjoy playing three hands at once which speeds up the action and makes it very simple to win big. For even more excitement you can place optional bonus bets.
Playing Multi- Hand Blackjack with Side-bet
You have up to three hands with which to beat the dealer with. You need to try to get a card value which is as close to 21 as possible without going over. If you exceed 21 points then you will lose the game and be bust. You can also place bonus bets, these can award you huge prizes if you are dealt blackjack.
You should start by placing the bets. To do this you simply need to choose the amount of chip that you want to play with. These can be selected by clicking in the different value chips which are sound at the bottom of the screen. You can place bets on 1, 2 or 3 hands. You can also place bonus bets.
Once you have placed all your bets you should then click on the deal button to deal the cards to you and the dealer. Two cards will be dealt to each of you, with both of your cards being face up. The dealer has one card which is face up and one face down.
An ace can be worth either 1 or 11 in the game, All of the picture cards have a value of 10 and all the other cards are worth whatever number is printed on them, 5 of diamonds is worth 5, etc… Blackjack is when the total of the two cards that you are initially dealt is 21, this is possible if you get a 10 and an ace. If you have a split hand then it is not possible to get a blackjack on the splits.
Placing New Bets
At the end of the game, whether you have won or lost you have the option to play again. You can select the Re-bet button to place the same bet again. Then you can adjust the bet as required and click on the deal button. You should then be able to click the deal button to start playing.
If you want to double your bet there is no need to manually add extra chips, actually you can click the double bet button. This will only be available to you if you have enough credits in your account to double your bet, and that it won’t exceed the table limits. It’s also possible to click the double bet button at the end of the game; this will work the same as the re-bet button but also double the bet of the last game.
To remove chips either click the clear button to remove them all, or press shift and click the chips you want to remove from play. This can only be done before the cards are dealt; afterwards bets are considered in play and cannot be removed.
Multi- Hand Blackjack with Side-bet – The Bonus Bet
The bonus bet is completely independent of the main bet, this means that you can place a bonus bet without needing to place a main bet. If you get a blackjack on the bonus bet hand then you will win.
The bonus play begins before regular blackjack play starts. This will check for blackjacks and tell you how much of a bonus you have won. This will be awarded to you regardless of the value of the dealers hands.
The bonus bets will be lost automatically if the hand does not have a blackjack.
Taking out Insurance
If the first card of the dealers is an ace then you may want to take out an insurance bet. This will be given to you as an option where you can decide whether or not to place the insurance bet. The insurance will be half of the value of the current stake. Insurance bets can be played for one, two or three of the hands in play. If the dealer has a blackjack and you took up the insurance offer then you will receive a 2:1 payout, if not you will lose the insurance bet and game play will continue.
If only a bonus bet has been placed and no main bets then an insurance bet will not be an option.
Playing a Hand
Once you have placed all of your bets you should then start the game by clicking deal. This will deal cards to the dealer and the player.
If the dealer has blackjack and you don’t then the game will be lost and you will lose all your bets placed. If you also have blackjack then this results in a tie, in which case you will receive your original bet back.
If neither the player or the dealer have blackjack then play will continue as normal. You can then choose to hit and request more cards to draw from the deck. You can continue drawing more cards until the total is 21, you are bust, or you choose to stand. If you exceed 21 then your hand will be bust and you will automatically lose the game.
If both of the cards in your hand are the same value then you can split them so that they become two separate hands. This will place another bet of the same value on the second hand. In this game it is only possible to split once.
Double Down can be used if you are happy with the cards and only want to receive one more card. Clicking this will allow you to receive one further card and double the bet.
You should be able to easily see the value of the cards next to your hand. This means that you don’t need to count up the value of the cards yourself.
Once you have finished playing your hand the dealer will be able to play his hand. He will turn over the card which was face down, and then if his hand is less than 16 draw more cards, and over 17 stand. The player with the higher value will win. In the result of a tie (which is known as a push) the player will receive their money back.
Multi- Hand Blackjack with Side-bet – Turbo Button
Players can decide to press the turbo button to increase the rate of play. This will cut out various animations including the animation of the cards being dealt. This will not affect the play method though. When turbo is active the button will be red.
Rules – Player
The results of the bonus bets will be decided straight after all the cards have been dealt.
The bonus bet result is not affected by the hand of the dealer
The bonus bet will only pay out if the player receives blackjack.
If the player accumulates 21 points with the first two cards then they will get blackjack. This pays out 3:2. Blackjack only applies to the first two cards; it does not apply to split hands.
The player cannot continue accepting more cards once the value of the cards in a players hand totals 21.
Players have the option of using double down on any two cards. Players are also allowed to double down on either or both of the two cards in a split hand.
It is only possible to split once, no re-splitting is permitted.
Players can hold up to eight cards in each hand. If the player has 8 cards in their hand which is still under 21 then this will automatically beat everything except for a blackjack.
Rules – Dealer
The dealer must continue to draw further cards if the value of the cards in the hand are under 16. If the value of the cards is higher than 17 then the dealer is not allowed to draw any more.
An insurance bet will only be offered if the face up card of the dealer is an ace. The dealer will also check for a blackjack if the card is a 10, however, no insurance bets are offered.
If the dealer gets blackjack then this will end play and the dealer will win, you therefore lose bets. The only difference is if the player also has blackjack, in which case it will be a tie which will result in the bets being returned.
Multi- Hand Blackjack with Side-bet – General Rules
The game is played with six decks of standard playing cards. The cards are all shuffled before play.
