Reverse Labouchere is a spin off the Labouchere system of betting, although it is worth noting that there is a degree of difference between the two and so it is essential we appreciate the differences so as to avoid confusion.

Specifically, one of the most defining features of the Reverse Labouchere system is that the player will add the value of their current bet at the end of the sequence of numbers that they have. If  the player suffers a loss then they will need to make sure that the first and last digits included in the current sequence of numbers are removed.

The overarching principle and purpose of this system is that the player will be able to press forward and exploit the tactical advantage that a victory will bring them, allowing for the new found buoyancy of their bankroll to allow even higher winnings to be achieved.

This system differs from other progressive systems such as the Parlay method of blackjack wagering and the reason for this is that the player will be required to ensure the numbers that are on the list if they suffer a loss. If all the numbers listed in the sequence are removed in this manner then the player will then be required to automatically withdraw from the game and not attempt further betting.

If you have never tried this system of wagering before it is essential that you make use of the various computer simulations that are on offer as these will directly enable the novice player to come to a better understanding of what the system entails.

Let us use an example to explain the system a little more readily. During a current bout of wagering, a player relies upon a 1,2,3 series and so an initial wager of 4 betting units which results in a victory will necessitate that the value is inserted to the series. This means that the number series goes from 123 to 1234.

The effect of this is that when the next wager is submitted, the player will then be required to place a wager that is equal to the value of 5 betting units. If the player then loses, the next step is to remove the first and last digits included within the series thereby meaning that 1 and 4 are removed. This would leave 2 and 3 within the series and these would be the numbers relied upon.
