The very first episode of Red or Black is aired tonight on ITV at 7pm with a further 6 shows being at each consecutive night.

Red or Black is new game show devised by Simon Cowell and hosted by UK legends Ant and Dec. Although exact details of the show are to say the least sketchy, it appears that 7 live shows will be film around the UK each with 7000 contestants. At each live show contestants will simply have to pick red or black with those choosing the correct answer moving on to the next round.
The live shows have already been schedule to be filmed during June 2011 starting at Wembley Area although other venues around the UK will also be used. At each live event contestants will witness a series of spectacular events all which will have two possible outcomes – Red or Black. The winner from each of the live shows will win a place on the live Red or Black final which will be aired lived on ITV this September.
Unlike other game shows where only a small number of players get the chance to take part, the Red or Black show will give 49,000 lucky players the chance to win a million.
